I think this is from the Addams family, the lesson Herman wants you to learn, is it doesn’t matter what you look like, tall or short, fat or thin , ugly or handsome like me.. but what does matter is the size of your heart and strength of your character.
We have a responsibility to change the status quo, success isn’t a 6 pack, success is inspiring people around you. Giving them the opportunity and belief you once might not have had.
You can't do the ordinary things and expect to have an extraordinary life or the extraordinary results.

I want to ‘tone’
I don’t want to become too bulky, I just want to be toned. something that unfortunely may never go away.
The aim of today is to educate you in some goal setting and identify what it is that you really want from your training.
The word tone should not exist in the fitness industry but unfortunately it does.
What people mean when they say tone is that they want to be lean. They want to have lean muscle and they want a noticeable difference in that especially aesthetically, but not adding mass. Not bulky.

We actually need to focus on the behavioural changes. Choose behaviours, you have control of these things. The examples I’m about to say are fitness related but adopt them to wherever suits you in your life.
You can’t control the outcomes until you’ve done all the behavioural patterns to adhere too.

You’re not a perfectionist, maybe you’re just scared. Scared of change, scared of hard work, scared as an adult you have to re self discipline.
A successful weight loss goal or program or anything as such can be simple, but don’t confuse simple with easy.
There is one thing you can completely control in this world and it’s the power of choice.

Identifying where you are and where you want to be is a great start, now the hard part is in the middle of the route you take to get there and no matter what is is… 5% reduction in body fat, saving your first thousand.. doing your first RX workout it is hard. It is going to be tough. Life would not be worth living if it was easy. now the hardest part to understand is that there really is no end point. The end goal gets bigger, it gets broader, you refine movements, you make better decisions and you learn and do it bigger and better.
But know the truth, it is fucking hard.
